Using Hermes
Hermes is an agent platform that lets you run AI-assisted tasks through connected tools, private runtime environments, storage, and messaging integrations. By using Hermes, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for how you configure your agents, what data you upload, what credentials you connect, and what tasks you ask Hermes to run. You must use Hermes only in ways that comply with applicable laws, regulations, platform rules, and third-party rights.
Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login methods, API keys, bot tokens, and connected provider credentials secure. Actions taken from your account, bot, workspace, or connected credentials are your responsibility.
You may not share access in a way that bypasses plan limits, security controls, abuse protections, or authorization requirements.
Acceptable use
You may not use Hermes to run tasks that violate local laws, regulations, or the rights of others. You may not use Hermes to attack networks, compromise systems, bypass access controls, distribute malware, steal credentials, perform unauthorized scanning, disrupt services, or otherwise harm cybersecurity.
You may not use Hermes for sexual exploitation, abuse, pornography involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, trafficking, harassment, violent threats, extremist activity, illegal weapons activity, fraud, phishing, spam, deceptive impersonation, or other abusive or unlawful activity.
You may not use Hermes to generate, store, or distribute content that you do not have the right to use, including content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or contractual rights.
User content and outputs
You keep ownership of the files, prompts, messages, credentials, and other content you provide to Hermes. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, publishing them, or using them to make decisions.
Hermes may process your content and outputs only as needed to provide the service, operate connected tools, maintain reliability, enforce these Terms, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Private workspaces and deletion
Hermes is designed around per-user private runtime and storage areas. Other Hermes users should not be able to access your private workspace data. You may delete workspace files and disconnect credentials where those controls are available in the product.
Some limited records may be retained when necessary for security, billing, abuse prevention, compliance, backups, dispute resolution, or service integrity. More detail is available in the Privacy Policy.
Plans, limits, and availability
Hermes may provide free, paid, bring-your-own-provider, and managed plans. Features, usage limits, model availability, storage, runtime capacity, and pricing may vary by plan and may change over time.
We may apply rate limits, quota controls, and operational restrictions to protect service reliability and prevent abuse.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use of Hermes violates these Terms, creates security risk, harms other users or systems, exposes Hermes to legal risk, or interferes with service operation.
You may stop using Hermes at any time and request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Hermes is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. AI-generated outputs and automated actions may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for your specific use case. You are responsible for deciding whether Hermes is appropriate for your tasks and for supervising high-risk actions.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Hermes is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date. Continued use of Hermes after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
